As usual, he got up early and put on his Sunday best.
He pictured her smiling face in his mind.
He packed his bag and headed out.
He can't wait to see her.
He arrived at his workplace but stopped at the entrance. He kept glancing at the bus stop.
He was waiting for her.
There she was!
His heart fluttered, he was so happy to see her.
She walked towards him gingerly, ever so gently.
He thought she is the most beautiful creature on earth.
"You are early!" she said in her sweet voice and dimples formed below her cheeks on her delicate face.
His eyes sparkled with happiness and delight. He wished he would see her everyday.
"Let's get started." she smiled at him again and placing her hand on his shoulder.
He was alone and sad before he met her.
He opened the bag of tissue packets on his lap and placed his hands on the wheels of his wheelchair. She clasped his shoulder firmly and with her walking cane plodding along, the happy couple moved slowly into the busy hawker centre.
He wished that everyday would be like this day. That he would feel happy and blissful.
