Sunday at ECP

We were planning to bring the kids to the kids' arts village, but changed our minds and brought them to east coast park instead

After pancakes at mac, the playground outside the restaurant called out to them...

Xuan ( took the most photos of her as she was not running around, all over the playground like the other two)

Wei

Yan

Then on an impulse, we rented two bikes; one with two child seats and the other with one hild seat. I rode with yan while mr fat rode with xuan and wei

At bedok jetty. They were curious n amazed by the uncle's catch

Fever fits

Last weekend, xuan had her second fever fit ( since she was born. )

She woke up crying at 3.30am on last sat, running a fever. She was also clutching her stomach, saying that her stomach is aching..

I had thought that she was hungry n gave her milk and then paracetemol. She went bk to sleep.

At 6am, i woke up and felt her forehead again and noticed that her fever did not went down. As she was asleep and another hr later, i could feed her paracetemol again, i went bk to sleep.

She woke up crying at 7am, this time waking the other two up. I made milk for 3 of them and work mr fat up too. I gave xuan lactofort and paracetemol after her feed.

When i came out from the bedroom, with their clothes, i realised something wrong. I saw both hands of xuan twitching as she laid on the bumper mat in between the other two gals. I saw her eyes starig straight and it was then i realised that she was having fever fit again.

As i blog about this, i still shudder at the experience..

I laid her on her side (correct) and inserted my finger into her clenched mouth (which was wrong!).

Soon she felt into deep sleep. We tried to wake her up. As we were on the way to kk hospital, she woke up n started crying. We heaved a sign of relief.

It turned out that she had stomach flu n this led to her having fever.

We learnt a lesson from this experience and if the kids have fever next time, we wld be more careful and mindful.

Sky's the limit

RSAF Open House 2011

The kids were very excited along the way there. They kept screaming at planes (or jets? Oh well..) that flew past..

We were there at about 5.30pm (the open house ends at 7)..there were still hordes of people..

The weather was perfect when we arrived there :)

Wei 'assigned herself to me.

My dad was 'assigned' xuan and my mum took care of the waterbottles bag (formerly known as the diaper bag, yes! They are officially diaper-free!)

And mr fat was assigned Yan.

They were actually blocking those who are exiting the plane. Look at xuan's 黑脸..

Yan is alwis the happy baby. Not camera shy at all.

There u have it, a photo bomb in the form of mr fat. He was supposed to carry the gals up onto the artillery and leave.

He just had to pause, pose and smile.

Easy to tell why the twins had 黑脸..nothing to play with, seated uncomfortably and worst of all, had to see a bunch of grown ups, making funny faces and shouting at them.
